Butter Cookies!... YUM!

Okay so I have to be like the worlds worst cook! :( I can't even make chocolate cookies from a box!!! I mean how hard is it to take the mix and add 1tblsp of butter and 1 egg and mix it up! Well I managed to be the one to screw it up.. I didn't exactly pay attention to the fact that it asked for only 1 tablespoon of butter and not a whole stick! I don't know what I was thinking... or if i was just being blonde.. but I added a whole stick of butter!! So i scoop them on my pan and thought everything was going good! Until I was talking to my mom on the phone and I pulled them out and they looked like pancakes! My mom asked if I added to much water.. I said no you don't add water just butter and an egg! So she asked well how much butter I added and I was like a stick! She was like a STICK! and I was like yes it was what the picture said and she said how much did it ask for and so I looked and there it was only 1 tablespoon! haha So then I taste them just to see if they would be alright and well they tasted very plain.. you couldn't even taste the freakin chocolate chips! So there it is... I officially am the worlds worst cook! I give up.. and I decided I'm just goin to marry a guy who can cook everything...especially chocolate chip cookies from a box! :)
